My dear child, there is so much work to be done and so many responsibilities to be assigned but there are very few persons to which these responsibilities can be handed to. The harvest is abundant and there are many labourers but dedicated labourers are few. I need people who take seriously the business of my Father and who commit themselves wholeheartedly to the task that is theirs. The way I see you handling the things assigned to you saddens my heart and keeps me worried. If you could put one-tenth of the energy, time, and commitment you put in your things and other businesses into the work of my Father, the world would have been ablaze with the fire of the Father’s love. It is so unfortunate that you neglect the work I entrusted to you and how you undermine the responsibility given to you. This negligence makes it difficult for me to assign you bigger responsibilities. Even when you try to carry out the duty that is yours, you do it without any prior preparation or plan of execution. You leave it to providence and patch things up the best you can just to give the impression that you did the work. Your lack of preparation and commitment to the duties assigned to you by Me is the reason why the work you do, remains barren and bears no fruits. Listen to me my child, the success of every work lies in the preparation that was done for it. Success is achieved even before the work is done when there is good preparation. Preparation gives you the chance to examine possibilities and strategies and to create possible solutions to problems that may arise. How many times have you sat down and strategized on how to handle the things that concern Me? There are two little secrets I want to share with you today. Have you ever wondered why some of the things you do for Me fail or have no positive effect on the targeted people? Yeah, the answer my child is found in your lack of preparation. The graces and the blessing for the success of every duty assigned to you is poured out during the time of preparation. When you are preparing for a program or to carry out a duty, I always visit you during that moment and fill you with the ability to execute the task perfectly. It is at that same time that I give you, insight about what lies ahead. But oftentimes, I have waited for you to start preparation and you failed to. Each time you fail to prepare, you skip the chance of receiving the equipment you need for the task. Preparation my child is the moment you set aside for me to mold you and get you ready for the task. So, excluding it is excluding me from what is to be done, and is depriving yourself of the knowledge of what lies ahead. Have you ever wondered why the transfiguration was very important in the accomplishment of my mission? That was the time Moses and Elijah came to prepare me for what lay ahead. What if I had neglected preparation and not gone up that mountain? Think of this my child and create time for adequate preparation. Secondly, you take part in so many spiritual activities and religious activities but go back untouched. This is also because you go for them without expectations and even when you have the expectations, you take them along without adequate preparations. Coming into the Father’s presence requires prior preparation which entails taking off the obstacles to His presence and creating space for Him within. Preparation gives you the possibility of finding the best possible way of presenting your expectations when the time comes. Have you ever wondered how Zacchaeus got on the sycamore tree that easily? He had prepared and planned it beforehand. He knew I was going to pass that way and he prepared to see me and made plans ahead of my coming. Knowing that the crowd will be much and he is short, he found alternatives one of which was the tree. This afore preparation won him the chance of having me in his home. You need to realize that the time spent in preparation is never wasted but facilitates the execution of the work to be done. Understand today, that the reason I have not assigned much and great responsibilities in your hands is because you have been very unfaithful with the little ones, I gave you. Change from that negligent attitude and become focussed on accomplishing well the little responsibility I have given you, and you will be surprised at how much I will bless that little responsibility and make it grow into a big one with many more blessings.
