My dear child, I know you might be wondering why you must face temptations and why I don’t just stop them from coming your way. Yes, I could do that, but that will be infringing on your freedom and your ability to make decisions for yourself. I gave you the freedom you have because I have confidence in your ability to make the right choices and avoid occasions to sin. You are my beloved child and you have all it takes to overcome the evil that seeks to pull you down. The temptations have no power over you and cannot get hold of you if you stay focused and keep looking unto me. The key to defeating them is prayer. They are nothing more than little asides that are trying to derail you from the focus but if you stay focused and pray, they will not affect you. Curb your ungodly desires and habits and you will notice that the temptations will become no big deal. Stay close to me and I will notify you when they come and give you the strength to overcome them. Draw from me the strength you need to be firm and resist them. Always bear in mind the essential and the goal and you will be amazed how much temptations won’t be able to have a hold on you. Come and I will teach you how to overcome each one of them for I have faced them before and I know how to defeat them. Listen to me when I call to you through the gentle voice of truth that resounds within you before every action and you will be able to fly past every temptation and trap set for you. Allow me to teach you how to face and defeat them. My advice to you is that you stay focused on me and you will overcome every temptation.
